Graduated as a veterinarian in 1996, I started at the faculty of veterinary medicine in Utrecht as a veterinarian and specialist in training at the department of internal diseases of the horse. Specialized and with a PhD I switched to a large referral clinic in 2004. In 2014 I went back to education, where I soon ended up in management.
The experiences I gained, on the one hand as a veterinarian in the (referral) practice and on the other hand within the management, eventually brought me to Waalwijk.
In the hospital, since March 2020, I am responsible for the ins and outs as clinical director, general management.
I live in a small village in the land of Maas and Waal (also called Gelders Brabant) together with my family (husband and 3 children), dog, cats, two riding ponies and a companion-shetlander. Leisure time quickly goes to the animals and the other activities at home. If there is time left you can see me along the line of the football field as a supporter of the son and I like to go somewhere for a bite to eat or a drink.
