History

The Evidensia Animal Hospital Hart van Brabant initiated out of a collaboration between Veterinary Clinic de Langstraat in Waalwijk and Veterinary Clinic tussen Mark en Amer in Hooge Zwaluwe.

Both clinics were traditionally mixed practices, i.e. both pet animals and farm animals were treated. The farm animal-branches have been split off and formed the current Farm animal practice Dier-N-Artsen in Oosteind. 

The pet branches worked together and invested in a CT scanner which was placed in Waalwijk.

IVC Evidensia

By joining veterinary group IVC Evidensia, the development of the growing small animal branche has gained momentum. IVC Evidensia has invested in an MRI scanner and other technologically advanced equipment. In addition, the building in Waalwijk was adapted to the space needed to run an Animal Hospital. And convince yourself: the result is impressive!

Housing both a first-line practice (Veterinary Clinic de Langstraat) and a second-line practice (Evidensia Animal Hospital Hart van Brabant) in the same building is not an ideal situation. That is why Veterinary Clinic de Langstraat will leave the building on the Eerste Zeine and will continue at the Elzenweg. The Evidensia Animal Hospital Hart van Brabant will stay on the Eerste Zeine 112 to continue 24 hours service and specialist consultation.
