My name is Pam and I have been working for Dierenziekenhuis Hart van Brabant since the beginning of 2019. After my graduation I started working in a regular pet clinic. Soon I discovered that my passion lies with cat medicine and their behaviour. Unfortunately, there is no recognized specialization in cat medicine, so I started following several (inter)national trainings* 'Feline Medicine'. In the meantime I gained a lot of experience in an emergency and referral clinic for animals with intensive care.
What fascinates me is how well and for how long cats can pretend nothing is wrong. Small changes in behavior can mean big changes in health. This is why cat behavior is inextricably linked to cat medicine. I enjoy figuring out exactly what is going on with the cat in order to provide the best possible care that suits the individual cat together with the owner.
Apart from the cat consultation, you will also meet me during the service and in the admission, where I also like to see other animal species.
Of course I am, together with my friend, staff of our cat Flip. Flip is autocratic, because he really can't find other cats in his house. I like to spend my free time bourgondically, go for a walk or get a breath of fresh air on my bike.
