Nicole van Werven

My name is Nicole. I graduated as a pet vet from the faculty of veterinary medicine in 2001. I was always busy with animals as a little girl and knew at a young age that I wanted to become a veterinarian. I enjoyed working in a practice in Rotterdam for over 15 years. Since 2017 I work in Waalwijk. First at Dierenkliniek de Langstraat, but since 2018 at Dierenziekenhuis Hart van Brabant. Here I started a training program in internal medicine. I am also interested in oncology and ultrasound. An important piece within internal medicine is the search for the pieces of the puzzle to find a correct diagnosis and treatment. And to be able to guide the animal and its owner as well as possible. By following extra refresher courses and reading literature, I keep abreast of new developments. Outside veterinary medicine I am married and the mother of three boys. We also live together with two cats and two guinea pigs. In my spare time I like to be outside or read an exciting book. I also like to cook and eat good food.
