Jiske l'Ami

My name is Jiske, within Evidensia I work as a veterinary anaesthesiologist. Also in Dierenziekenhuis Hart van Brabant I am part of the team in the operating rooms, to provide high quality care if your animal needs anaesthesia or sedation (intoxication) for an operation or for imaging (MRI / CT / X-ray). In this way, patients with a higher risk of anaesthesia due to their age or a specific problem of e.g. heart, kidneys or liver can also be treated as safely as possible. Providing tailor-made treatment, in which the animal suffers as little as possible from both the operation and the anaesthesia itself, is what I like most about my area of expertise.

I have worked as an anaesthetist at the faculty of veterinary medicine in Utrecht for over 11 years. There I went through my training to become a specialist in veterinary anaesthesiology and I have now passed half of the European specialist exam.

In my spare time I prefer to be outside, weather or no weather at all. With two young children, a dog and two horses there is always plenty to do.
